THE HOWLING GROWLS

Darting in,
and bolting out
their howling growls
are all about.
One stops here-
another there
one stops death cold
and sniffs the air....
Underneath a grey , but shallow moon
you can hear their howling tune.
On the cusp of time,
and a cold stiff breeze
something's rustling amongst the leaves.
Closing in ,
pinpointed out,
the circle starts,
Oh no look out!
The teeth , the teeth
those cruel and perfect teeth
the growling , the snarling,
the teeth that stand beneath.
The hair , the hair
and oh and less we least forget
those bold red eyes that stare!
There's no way in , and no way out
trapped between without a doubt.
The biting starts , the tearing starts
the ripping of the flesh.
And once what was and used to be
is now what looks a mess.
For the life that feeds
off a life that bleeds
as a howling wolf does shout!
Well the one that feeds,
at once SUCCEEDS
and that's what life's about!

             Welcome to Dracula's Forbidden Castle~

The literary character of Dracula was based on the Wallachian prince Vlad Tepes Dracul. His favored method of punishment was impaling thus he was given the name Tepes which in Romanian means impaler. He was known as Vlad the Impaler in Romania and in Turkey as The Impaler Prince. He had three reins as prince of Wallachia. The first was only for 2 months in 1448. The second and longest was in 1456 and lasted six years. The third was in 1475 and ended with his assassination in December of 1476. His was a cruel rein where any crime could be punished by impaling.
